State Rep. Terrie Wood will discuss "Faith in Politics" at St. Luke's Discovery Hour Sunday, April 29, from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall. Wood is a St. Luke's parishioner and represents Darien and Rowayton in the Connecticut General Assembly.

Before serving in Hartford, Wood was an active community advocate. She is a co-founder and first chairman of the Darien Environmental Group, past president and trustee of the Darien Land Trust, past board member of the Darien Library and the Community Fund. She has served as an ABC Host, Post 53, parent and co-chairman of YES DHS, the referendum committee that promoted building the new Darien High School.
