Per Bjornstad, of Darien, was named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Eastern Connecticut State University. A member of the Class of 2014, Bjornstad is majoring in political science.

John Bushell and Claire Gardner, both of Darien, were named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Sacred Heart University.

Haley Miller, of Darien, a member of Bowdoin College's Class of 2016, was awarded the U.S. Chemical Rubber Company Freshman Award and the Edgar Oakes Achorn Prize.

Daniel Gambardella, of Darien, a senior accounting major, was named to the dean's list for the spring semester at the State University of New York at Oswego.

Charles Michele II, of Darien, the son of Robert and Katherine Michele and a graduate of Harrow School, graduated from Haverford College with a bachelor's degree in history and a minor in economics.

Michele's senior thesis, the culmination of the Haverford academic experience, is titled "The Shame Suicides: The Opportunity Cost of Borderlands Development between the United States and Mexico in the Early Twentieth-Century."

While studying at Haverford, Michele was a member of the men's squash and soccer teams. He received the A.W. "Pop" Haddleton Award for perseverance, dedication and loyalty to the men's soccer team.

Alexandra H. Hamill and Julia D. Seelye, both of Darien, graduated from Washington and Lee University.

Michael Peter Gasparino, of Darien, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Gasparino, graduated from Dickinson College with a bachelor's degree in policy management. Gasparino is a graduate of Darien High School.
