Drew Maltz, 21, of Chappaqua, N.Y., was arrested on Monday, March 25, on charges of unregistered home improvement sales and soliciting without a permit.
At approximately 5:30 p.m., police said, several complaints were received from residents of Robinson Street reporting a male going door to door attempting to set up appointments for a remodeling company out of Chester, Penn., police said.
Upon locating the male, police determined that he did not have a Town of Darien solicitor's permit nor was he licensed as a home improvement sales person in Connecticut, according to the report.
