Marla Forgit, 26, of Stamford, was charged with two counts of interfering with an officer, reckless driving, operating a vehicle with a suspended license, no insurance and failure to show license and registration at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9, -- her birthday.

Forgit was driving a Lexus 350 east on the Post Road at Leroy Avenue when she passed a police officer on the right, according to the report. The officer noticed she was speeding so her followed her, noting that she only slowed down when traffic forced her to do so.

The officer pulled her over and she told him she was tired and looking for a Howard Johnson motel. She failed to cooperate with the officer and wouldn't give him her license or registration, police said.
