Woman's wallet stolen during stop at Panera

A woman's wallet was stolen while she was at Panera, 1063 Post Road, Darien, March 23.
Police said the woman placed her wallet, which contained credit cards, $12, her driver's license and personal papers, in her purse that was on the ground next to her chair. She noticed the wallet was missing when she went to her vehicle, police said. She was in Panera from 12:40 to 2 p.m., the report stated.
Three charges were made to her credit cards as early as 1:20 p.m., all in the amount of $500, according to police.
The woman canceled all her credit cards and told police she wasn't sure when the larceny happened and it may have been while she was getting her food, according to the report.
