Darien White Fifth Grade Football won 16-0 over New Canaan Red at New Canaan High School last Saturday. The Darien White team was awarded for its year-long efforts as it was the `team of the week' on News 12 this past week.

This Darien team is the only Darien DJFL that made it to the Championship and won this year. This team has gone back to back as it defeated New Canaan last year when the boys were fouth graders to capture that crown.
